Canopy – The Upper Levels sits at the crossroads of Chinatown, North Beach, Jackson Square, and the Financial District — where old San Francisco meets the new. Inspired by the deep green patina of Francis Ford Coppola’s Sentinel Building across the street, the interiors are layered in rich forest tones, blackened steel, and veined marble. Slatted wood ceilings, sculptural lighting, and curved millwork create a sense of rhythm and intimacy within the historic fabric of the neighborhood.
Natural light pours in from tall windows overlooking the city’s brick and copper rooftops, softening the darker palette and bringing warmth to communal tables and private studios alike. Lush planting, pink accents, and textural upholstery balance the moody greens, echoing the vibrancy of the surrounding districts. The result is a refined, cinematic workspace — rooted in place, shaped by history, and elevated above the energy of the streets below.
